Thurs July 4, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Eric has people over to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, Poppy worries that Bill is with Katie, and Carter congratulates Paris on her engagement.
Paris warned Hope to stay away from Thomas, and Katie told Bill she doesn’t trust Poppy.
At Bill’s, RJ and Luna prepare to go out. He asks Poppy if she wants to go to Eric’s with them.
She wants to wait for Bill to return. He’s with Katie.
Her daughter senses this is bothering her and assures her she has nothing to worry about.
Poppy tells them to have a great time and they exit.
She starts fidgeting, looking at her phone, and wondering why Bill isn’t home.
At Eric’s estate, he congratulates Thomas on his engagement and toasts it.
Brooke and Ridge arrive. Steffy, Finn, and the kids might not make it.
Thomas tries calling Paris.
RJ and Luna show up and congratulate Thomas on his engagement.
At Forrester Creations, Paris tells Hope that Thomas is over her.
She thought they could talk this out as friends but she just made a play for her fiancé.
Hope reminds her that they have a son, a history, he just proposed to her recently, and their feelings haven’t gone away.
This is happening way too soon and Hope is concerned for Paris and Thomas.
She warns that Thomas is still a one-woman man.
Paris doesn’t appreciate all of this and declares she knows nothing about her relationship with Thomas and Douglas.
Paris insists this is no rebound and they daydream about their future together and the children they will have.
She orders Hope to respect the engagement and leave her fiancé alone.
Hope thinks that Paris doesn’t understand how much she and Thomas love each other.
Paris reminds her that she refused to marry him and he moved on.
He is a one-woman man and she’s that woman now.

In the design office, Katie admits to Bill that she’s having a hard time wrapping her head around him having a daughter with Poppy.
That lady gives her a bad vibe.
She worries he has let his guard down too quickly and could be taken advantage of.
Katie will always want what’s best for him and not just because they share a son.
Bill admits that reuniting their family was what he wanted for a long time.
She knows he feels guilty about what happened between them but she always sees what a strong and caring man he is.
Bill always thought he was bull-headed and aggressive. She jokes about that.
He would like to think he’s grown up a little and that he owes most of that to her.
“You’re the best thing that ever happened to me,” he says. She’s the love of his life…but life goes on and she was right to move on.
He’s moved into his next chapter too.
Katie asks him to say it again. Taking her hand, he repeats that she’s the love of his life, his Katie.
Backing off, he apologizes if he’s sending her mixed signals. He’s moving on but will always hold wat they shared in his heart.
They flash back to their life together. He says he often wonders what could have been if he hadn’t screwed things up.
So does she.
He asks what’s going on with “what’s his name.”
She says she and Carter are better off as friends.
Katie wishes Bill would think about what he says before he says it.
It hurts her to hear him say he’s the love of his life when he doesn’t mean it.
He does mean it and tells her never to doubt it.
As they embrace, Poppy peaks through the door.
Her eyes flutter at the sight and she backs away, watching them.
Paris joins the rest of the guests at Eric’s.
They toast to her.
Carter comes over to admire her ring and tell her how lucky Thomas is to have her.
He walks off and Thomas hands her a drink before asking what happened.
She was tying up loose ends at the office.
As they make out, Hope arrives and spots them.
That’s uncomfortable. Her mom comes over to check on her.
Eric thanks everyone for coming and Ridge gets everyone to toast to Thomas and Paris.
Thomas makes a speech about how he never expected to fall in love but he did and can’t wait to be married.
He tells his grandfather that he made this home a place for family.
He asks if Eric would allow them to get married in his home. Eric agrees and they toast them.
Hope backs away to a corner and starts cringing as Thomas and Paris make out.
