Missouri broke a three-all tie in the bottom of the fifth inning with a two-out, three-run rally to help the team earn a 6-4 win over South Dakota.

With the bases loaded, a walk, fielder's choice and hit-by-pitch turned a 3-3 tie into a 6-3 Missouri lead.

South Dakota got one back in the sixth and found itself with runners on the corners with one out, but a strikeout and groundout ended the game.

Missouri began the matchup with three runs in the first, but South Dakota fought back with one in the third and two in the fifth.

Missouri now advances to the Midwest final on Friday. South Dakota is still alive and will play in the semifinal against Iowa (Davenport) on Wednesday.

New England Region: New Hampshire (Salem) 4, Massachusetts (Bridgewater) 3

New Hampshire jumped out to a 4-0 lead after three innings and held off a valiant Massachusetts rally late for a 4-3 victory.

New Hampshire scored three in the first, with Wes Boudreau's two-RBI single serving as the big blow. A third-inning error led to New Hampshire's fourth run.

Massachusetts got on the board with a fourth-inning sacrifice fly. Micah Poulter and Jeremiah Gonzales then added RBI singles in the fifth to cut the New Hampshire lead to 4-3.

Massachusetts got a runner in scoring position after a leadoff single and a stolen base with two out, but a strikeout ended the game.

New Hampshire now advances to the New England region final to play Maine (Portland) on Thursday.

Washington scored 14 unanswered runs over the fifth and sixth innings to overcome a 5-0 deficit and remain alive in the Northwest regional tournament.

Washington put up an 11-spot in the fifth, with Brayden Blair's two-run homer serving as the final blow. Blair has now hit three home runs in the tournament.

The victors then added three more runs in the sixth, with Kohen Willis smacking a two-run shot before Jett Taylor added a solo homer for back-to-back blasts.

Washington now moves onto the Northwest region final at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday to play Idaho (Eagle).

Metro Region: New York (South Shore, Staten Island) 6, Connecticut (East Lyme) 5 (7 Innings)

Peter Giaccio hit a bases-loaded, two-out, walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to give New York a 6-5 win over Connecticut.

In the top half of the seventh, New York got an inning-ending double play after second baseman Joe Iraci snared a line drive and quickly threw to shortstop Alex Torres at second before the runner got back in time.

In the bottom half, three walks loaded the bases for Giaccio, who delivered the game-winning hit on a 1-2 pitch.

New York was down 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth before a Giaccio RBI double and a Jake Romero RBI single tied the game at five.

Dean Scarangello got the win for New York after throwing four innings of one-run ball, striking out five.

New York will now play New Jersey (Morristown) in the Metro region final on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.

Great Lakes Region: Illinois (Hillsdale) 8, Indiana (Jasper) 7 (8 innings)

An instant classic took place to cap the Great Lakes region as Illinois defeated Indiana 8-7 in eight innings.

Indiana trailed Illinois 6-2 going into the sixth inning, but a five-run rally catapulted them into the lead. With two out, Ashton Patton smacked a two-RBI single to give Indiana the 7-6 edge.

Illinois struck back in the bottom half of the sixth, though, when Michael Kipnis' two-RBI double tied the game to force extra innings.

Both teams went scoreless in the seventh. In the eighth, a ghost runner started on second. Indiana bunted the runner over to third to start its frame, but a pair of outs ended the threat.

Alex Vivanco then ended the game with an opposite-field double, sending Illinois to Williamsport.

West: Hawaii (Wailuku) 13, Arizona (Litchfield Park) 9

Brextyn Hong set the tone for Hawaii on Wednesday and was the team's overall hitting star in a 13-9 victory over Arizona.

Hong hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Hawaii on top early, and he ended up going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI in the contest.

Matthew Yang also recorded two RBI for Hawaii, as he drove in two with a double as part of a three-run third inning.

Hawaii held a 12-5 lead through three innings, and while Arizona made a push with three runs in the bottom of the fifth, it was never quite able to push the offensively gifted Hawaiian team.
